These Indian origin smart heads are making India proud by working at the dream positions in the renowned companies in the different corners of the world. It must have been a long journey for them to reach where they are today, but certainly it’s worth every bit.

Today we present before you 10 personalities that have become the face of India in the world.  Check them out in our list of Indian CEOs at foreign companies:

1. Sundar Pichai, Google:

Pichai joined Google in 2004, where he led the product management and innovation efforts for a group of Google’s client software products, includingGoogle Chrome and Chrome OS. He started overseeing the progress of different apps such as Gmail and Google Maps that have certainly helped the mass a lot. Pichai was proclaimed as the next CEO of Google on August 10, 2015 after previously being appointed as the product Chief by CEO Larry Page on October 24, 2014.

2. Satya Nadella, Microsoft:

AtMicrosoft Nadella has led major projects including the company’s move to cloud computing and the development of one of the largest cloud infrastructures in the world. Nadella worked as the senior vice-president of Research and Development (R&D) for the Online Services Division and vice-president of the Microsoft Business Division.

3. Rajeev Suri, Nokia Solutions & Networks:

On 29 April 2014, Suri was appointed as the CEO of He worked at the Nokia since 1995 and motivated the company to open a new serviced hub in India. Suri followed Simon Beresford-Wylie as the CEO of NSN in October 2009 after Nokia Networks and Siemens Networks had been merged. He is considered a ‘turnaround specialist’ in the global tech circles. Did we tell you he does not have a MBA or a PG degree? Yes you read it right!

4. Shantanu Narayen, Adobe:

He started his career at After Apple, Narayen served as director of desktop and collaboration products for Silicon Graphics, then co-founded at Pictra Inc. Narayen started his career at Adobe in 1998 as a senior Vice-President of worldwide product research and then was later promoted to executive vice president and was appointed to his current post in January 2005. This 41 year old gentleman also serves on the board of Dell Inc. and the advisory board of the Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley. Such a multi-tasker he is!
Narayen is paid an annual salary of $875,000 for his role as chief executive.

5. Sanjay Mehrotra, Sandisk:

Sanjay Mehrotrais co-founder of  Sandisk and the company’s President and Chief Executive Officer and was appointed on January 2011. SanDisk revenue grew from $5.05 billion in FY2011 to $5.56 billion in FY2015 since Mehrotra was named CEO. Well done Sanjay!

6. Francisco D’Souza, Cognizant:

At Cognizant, which he joined in its early days, D’Souza was elected Chief Operating Officer (COO) in December 2003. . He oversees much of the operations and business development of the company, working closely with Cognizant clients who are using offshore resources to execute large software development and maintenance projects. From January 1996 to June 1997, D’Souza was engaged as a consultant. He has been noted for his quick rise to the top of his profession.

7. Indra Nooyi, PepsiCo:

Nooyi joined PepsiCo in 1994 and was named president and CFO in 2001. Nooyi has directed the company’s global strategy for more than a decade. In 2006 she became the fifth CEO in PepsiCo’s 44-year history. Since she started as CFO in 2001, the company’s annual net profit has risen from $2.7 billion to $6.5 billion. She really did prove that Indian women are no less. Men, you better watch out!

8. Ajaypal Singh Banga, Mastercard:

He is the current president and chief executive officer of MasterCard and was appointed so on July 1, 2010. The company also announced that Banga would become a member of MasterCard’s Board of Directors, effective immediately. Banga, 50, is also the chairman of the S.-India Business Council (USIBC) representing more than three hundred of the largest international companies investing in India. The Government of India awarded him the civilian honor of the Padma Shri this year. Bravo!

9. Sanjay Jha, Global Foundries:

He was announced the CEO of Global Foundries Inc. on January 7, 2014. Global Foundries is a privately held company with its headquarters in Santa Clara, CA, USA. Global Foundries is the second largest semiconductor foundry business in the world.

10. Nikesh Arora, Softbank Internet & Media Inc:

President & Chief Operating Officer ofSoftbank , which is the largest telecom companies in Japan and also one the leading investors in major startups in India. Let us tell you,  Arora was paid a record amount of $135 million to lead Softbank’s operations which made him world’s 3rd highest paid executive.  Interesting. Isn’t it?
