The young women of today are scattering their bit in multiple platforms to glorify their existence in this male dominant world. Women today are much influential and are coming out as the key examples in turning out their talent in the right direction.

In this world of entrepreneurship, these young women have marked their name not only around India but across the globe. Let’s unfold the diaries of some who enlightened their talent in the right way:

1. Swati Bhargava, CashKaro

The CEO and co-founder of CashKaro, she is a graduate from London School of economics (LSE) who started her first start up in mid 2011 in London, with the name Pouring Pounds with her husband Rohan Bhargava. Considering the booming Indian market, the partners started their venture CashKaro in April 2013 in India. She has accumulated a considerable support from her husband. She says, “Being an entrepreneur is not easy, but if you have the right partner it’s an incredible experience where you enjoy the journey as much as the destination!”

2. Richa Kar, Zivame.com

The successful online lingerie portal Zivame.com was founded by Richa Kar. A graduate from NMIMS. She had prior hands in the desired field as was associated with Spencers. She founded Zivame in August 2011. She had faced several hurdles in grounding her venture like getting a payment gateway, renting out a space for the company and incorporation of the infrastructure and rest. She also says that subject like lingerie is still a ‘hush hush’ on the mouths of people and they like to avoid talking about it. To eradicate this issue she started this venture.

3. Suchi Mukherjee

The online shopping portal that was started in 2012 by Suchi Mukherjee opened the gates where users can experiment with their looks and styles and create their own scrapbook. Suchi Mukherjee who is again a graduate from LSE had worked for Gumtree, an eBay Inc company and Skype.

4. Neeru Sharma, InfiBeam

The co-founder and Director of Corporate Development at Infibeam, an Indian online shopping portal. She has been a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and has worked with online shopping giant Amazon. She welcomed several challenges while settling out her own venture like finding the correct talent and resources.

 5. Upasana Taku, Zaakpav.com

This Stanford University graduate is the CEO and co-founder of Zaakpay.com, which is a mobile app payment SDKs and web payment solutions to ecommerce websites in India. She had prior work experience in multiple milestones like Wipro, Spectramind, Sun Microsystems, Stanford Linear Accelerator, etc. Her first venture was Mobikwik with her husband Bipin Preet Singh in the year 2010.

6. Pearl Uppal, FashionAndYou.com

The founder of ecommerce fashion store FashionAndYou.com, Pearl hasd accumulated quite a good experience in giants like GE, Rediff and Yahoo. She is an entrepreneur, an Internet startup and Growth Specialist, and an Investor. After FashionAndYou.com happened, she placed her hands for 5ideas Startup Superfuel in 2012 with her husband Gaurav Kachru. The Startup Superfuel Fund is a seed & early stage fund focused on digital assets based in India.

 7. Anisha Singh, Mydala.com

Anisha Singh is the founder and CEO of Mydala.com, an online coupon portal. A graduate from American University she has worked tremendously well out shore. She triggered her career with Clinton administration arising women entrepreneurs raise funds for innovative women-led businesses. She has worked in Boston with Centra Software and rooted Kinis (Software) Solutions, customized e-learning solutions for Fortune 500 companies. She finally laid the foundation of Mydala in 2009.

 8. Vani Kola, MD at Kalaari Capital

A post-graduate from Arizona State University and a successful entrepreneur in Silicon Valley, she works with first time entrepreneurs to help build strong global companies. She is the MD at Kalaari Capital and CEO at IndoUS Venture Partners. Kalaari capital is a $160 million venture capital fund that has funded more than 50 companies In India. She has notable hands in the success of these leading market giants-Myntra, Snapdeal, Bluestone, Zivame, Urban Ladder and others.

9. Bhavna Agarwal

With a 16+ years of experience, Bhavna Agarwal is the CEO of Luxury Retail Services and Advisory Board member at VentureFund. An award winning digital leader she has laddered several platforms. Her internet journey initiated in the year 2000, as one of the founder member of Times Internet. She has also been a founding member of Yatra.com.

10.  Sabina Chopra, Yatra Pvt. Ltd.

Sabina Chopra is the co-founder at Yatra Online Pvt. Ltd and serves as the Chief Information Officer. A graduate from Delhi University, she headed the operation of ebookers, a Europe based online travel company. She has grasped plenty of experience during her time in the ebookers and implemented the same in the foundation of Yatra.com, a giant in travel portal in India.
