The Punjabi musician and Congress activist Sidhu Moosewala was killed on May 29. The Delhi Police’s Special Cell revealed the details of the murder’s planning and execution on Monday along with the names of the three suspects it had detained, including two shooters.

The hitmen were in contact with the Canadian criminal Goldy Brar on the morning of the crime, according to the police, and he provided them clear instructions.

Priyavrat Fauji, Kashish alias Kuldeep, and Keshav Kumar were detained on June 19 in Kutch, Gujarat, according to special commissioner of police (special cell) HS Dhaliwal. After the incident, a cache of weapons, including three handguns with 50 rounds of ammunition each, eight grenades, and a Kalashnikov assault rifle, was discovered.

According to Dhaliwal, the shooters were Fauji and Kashish, and Keshav was the driver of the car that was utilised to flee the murder scene.

On May 29, one day after the Punjab government reduced his security presence, Moosewala was shot and killed in the Mansa district of Punjab. His SUV was shot at with roughly 30 rounds by two cars, a Mahindra Bolero and a Toyota Corolla. According to police, there were six shooters present.

The crime, which is thought to be the result of a gang feud, has listed jailed mobster Lawrence Bishnoi as the primary suspect. Shortly after Moosewala’s death, Brar claimed credit for the killing, claiming it was retaliation for the murder of Vicky Middukhera.

“Of the people detained, Priyavrat Fauji, 26, was the module head and the primary shooter, and Kashish, 24, was the other shooter. Fauji was a sharpshooter who belonged to the Ramkaran gang. Keshav Kumar, 29, is the second person detained; he accompanied the shooters on all reconnaissance missions and drove them after the shooting. stated Dhaliwal.

Police claim that the two cars that Moosewala’s SUV was being pursued by included six shooters. Bishnoi and Brar were keeping a tight eye on everything, according to a special cell officer who wished to remain unnamed. According to our understanding, Brar instructed one of the gunmen to assure the murder of Moosewala on the day of the occurrence by calling him.
