1. Ranbir Kapoor- Katrina Kaif
Bollywood’s hottest couple ended their 6 year-long relationship in the beginning of 2016 when the two moved out of their love-nest at Carter Road. Although the actual reason of their split is still not clear, there had been speculations about Katrina being uncomfortable of Ranbir’s proximity to his former girlfriend Deepika Padukone during the shoot of Tamasha. The couple will be seen together in Jagga Jasoos post breakup.
2. Farhan Akhtar- Adhuna Bhabani
Another shock that came earlier this year was when Farhan Akhtar and his wife Adhuna Bhabani decided to end their 16 years of marriage. The couple have mutually and amicably decided to separate and issued a joint statement announcing their divorce stating that their daughters will continue to be their top priority. Both Adhuna and Farhan chose to stay mum on the reason of their split, it is rumoured that Farhan’s extra-marital affair with co-star Aditi Rao Hydari made the couple separate their ways.
3. Anushka Sharma- Virat Kohli
The break-up of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli affected both the film and cricket world. Being a perfect example of a balanced relationship, the reports of their break-up circulated when Virat Kohli officially unfollowed Anushka Sharma on Twitter after which both unfollowed each other on Instagram. If reports are to be believed, the reason of their split is the prolonged denial of Virat’s long pending marriage proposal by Anushka as the latter wanted to focus on her career.

Ending her 17 year old marriage, Malaika finally put an end to her on-off relationship with husband Arbaaz Khan. Rumour has it that the reason behind the split was Arbaaz’s not-so-successful career. Malaika supposedly always felt like an outsider in Arbaaz’s family where her fashion choices and lifestyle patterns were never approved by the Khan family. If sources are to be believed, Arbaaz still wants to keep the marriage and is seeking advice from friends and family.
5. Pulkit Samrat- Shweta Rohira
Being married for 1 year to Salman Khan’s rakhi sister Shweta Rohira, Pulkit Samrat came into the limelight due to his closeness to ‘Sanam Re’ co-star Yami Gautam. However Pulkit had denied dating Yami and called his affair a mere publicity stunt for ‘Sanam Re’, but soon Shweta confirmed the rumour. There were reports that Pulkit was having as affair with Yami when his wife suffered a miscarriage. However now, Pulkit is supposedly delaying the divorce process.
