Hornbill International Music Festival at Kohima:
Falling between December 1st to 10th, Hornbill International Music Festival is special event which will showcase Nagaland’s heritage and culture. The festival is organised for 10 days by the State Tourism and Art & Culture Department of Nagaland. This music festival attracts music lovers from every corner of the world and the performances are led by known connoisseurs of the industry.
Mahindra Blues, Mumbai:
Organised from February 11th to 12th at Mumbai, gets you some really soul tripping experience. The bands which perform with world international blues feature here and the event fosters the Indian Blues Bands.
Ziro Festival of Music at Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh:
The festival is organised from September 22 to 25 at Ziro Valley. This four days festival may give some really musical jolts as it invites musicians from across the world. Bands like Louw Majaw, Peter Cat and Indus Creed performs with great enthusiasm. With best talent performing, this event is organised at the valley 5,500 feet above the ground.
Ragasthan at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan:
From November 16th to 18th, Khurdi area of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan comes alive at the beats of music. The desert destination and cultural hopping musical night is all we need sometimes. This three days festival sets the tune for moonlit travelling at dunes, camping and camel rides. Too perfect and fun-ridden it seems.
