4th International Yoga Day: Guinness World Records creates in Kota, Rajasthan; Know more

Today is 4th International Yoga Day. Last year, India had created record as 55,000 people performed yoga at one place at the same time in Mysore. This year also, India broke its own record in Kota, Rajasthan. On the occasion of International Yoga Day, coaching hub for competitive exams i.e. Kota created a new world record. Today, the largest number of people performed yoga at one place at RAC ground. They were lead by chief minister Vasundhara Raje and yoga guru Baba Ramdev. In fact, Yog Guru Baba Ramdev had been training people on yoga asanas from last two days.

Guinness World Record
To keep an eye on the people, a team of Guinness World Records from London reached Kota. The team observed the yoga performance of huge gathering at same time and at the same place. The people gathered at the ground early in the morning. At the time of creating world record for yoga, approximately 105000 people are recorded officially who entered the ground. Later on, more and more people came to perform yoga today. The event was attended by Balkrishna, government officials, MPs and MLAs. Vasundhara Raje took the blessings of the Yoga guru and his disciple Balkrishna.

The time set for world record was of half an hour between 6:30 to 7 am. The team of Guinness World Records noticed time from 6:30am. Guinness Team from London presented the certificate to Yog Guru Baba Ramdev and Balkrishna in presence of CM Vasundhara Raje.

Kota which is previously famous for giving best engineers and doctors to the country will now be remembered for creating Guinness World Records on 4th International Yoga Day. Since 2015, International Yoga Day is being celebrated annually on 21 June.
