50,000 Rajasthanis to Sing Vande Mataram on Demonetisation Anniversary


In order to mark the celebrations for the first demonetisation anniversary, 50,000 people in Rajasthan will be singing the national anthem and national song. A grand event will be arranged at the SMS Stadium in Jaipur on November 8, which will be attended by 50,000 people. It’s being organized in association with the Rajasthan Youth Board and the RSS-backed Hindu Spiritual and Service Foundation.

As per the Rajasthan Youth Board Vice President Sandeep Yadav, “Such events are very important for the youth as it connects them with our culture and values. All youth wings under our organization will participate in the event.”

Other than people singing national song and anthem at the gathering, a Yoga Session will also be organized at the Stadium. While Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje will be present as the Chief Guest, famous Musician Ananji will be playing patriotic tunes from Hindi films. The program is scheduled to go on for 2 hours.

It’s important to note that the day of demonetisation anniversary on November 8 has been declared as ‘Anti-Black Money Day’ by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
