Aamir Khan Adopts 2 Drought-Plagued Villages Tal & Koregaon in Maharashtra

Mr Perfectionist of Bollywood, Amir Khan has recently adopted two villages in Maharashtra named Tal and Koregaon in the state’s drought-plagued region. Also, the actor lately went on tour of the two villages and thought the residents how to work together towards water conservation. By adopting the two villages he has not only set an example but also has taken a step ahead in uplifting the current status of the villages.

The water issue in Maharashtra is worsening every passing day. To tackle this problem permanently, we have to give preference to the success of Jal Yukta Shivar and similar projects,” said Amir Khan when he visited the areas facing water scarcity where he also applauded Maharashtra government’s Jalyukt Shivar Abhiyaan.
