Abhishek Bachchan was slapped by a woman for embarrassing his family name; here is how he felt

The Bachchan family is the most renowned family in the cine world. While Amitabh Bachchan is known for his stellar acting skills, his son Abhishek Bachchan has become the fodder of trolls and mockery.

Married to Aishwarya Rai and having a beautiful daughter named Aaradhya, Abhishek maintains an unaffected behavior on his failures. His recent films have done terribly bad, but never mind. The actor doesn’t stress even a bit and keeps it cool.

Recenytly, he shared an instance where a woman slapped him for embarrassing his family name. Abhishek Bachchan said: “It was a tough time. I had once gone to Gaiety Galaxy to see how my film (Shararat) was doing; a lady came out and slapped me and said you’re embarrassing your family’s name, stop acting. Thankfully, I’m able to laugh about it today, but at that point, it was not a very good feeling.”

In a chat with Jagran Film Summit, Abhishek said that it was a very tough moment for him in his career when the woman slapped him. He was slapped outside a cinema hall, where he had gone to the screening of his 2002 film named Shararat.

He said he needs to step back and decide what type of films he wants to do. His recent film Manmarziyan. The movie didn’t do well, although it had a great cast including Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal.

Abhishek is also involved in Football and Kabaddi, and also owns a Kabaddi team named Pink Panthers. What is to be noted is the valour and resilience of Abhishek, who knows how to listen to criticism. He is being compared to his legend father Amitabh Bachchan but isn’t it unfair? He may be Amitabh Bachchan’s son but he is Abhishek, not Amitabh. He may be good in some other domain, you may be unaware of. Let’s respect him for taking the pressure in full spirit.
