This Wednesday, China decided not to depart from its previous stand on the designation of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar’s listing in the UN Supreme Council list, saying that it needed more time to analyze the evidence put forward.

New Delhi will continue to make concerted efforts to ensure that JeM chief Masood Azhar gets listed under UN 1267 sanctions regime with 14 of the 15 UN Security Council Members supporting India to list him as a global terrorist.

On Pakistan, the sources said, the neighboring country has only taken cosmetic steps to dismantle terrorist organizations. They said, there has been no substantial action by Islamabad on curtailing terror financing.
