Akshay Kumar donates Rs 9 lakh each to families of 12 CRPF men killed

The magnanimous actor, Akshay Kumar gave his heart and money out to the CRPF jawans. Khiladi Kumar donated a whopping Rs 1.08 crore to the families of the CRPF jawans who devoted their lives towards country’s terrorism retaliation.

The families of soldiers who were martyred while fighting Maoists in Sukma, Chhattisgarh were showered with a monetary blessing of Rs 9 lacs each.

The Khiladi actor donated Rs 9 lakh each to the families of the 12 jawans who died amidst an intensified battle between the CRPF and the Maoists.

The CRPF troopers were indulging in ROP (Road Opening Patrol) duty when they were by a slew of Maoists who were armed with automatic weapons and IEDs.

Not only this, Akshay also buttressed an online portal to help families of martyrs.

“Akshay himself has been in touch with me and he keeps enquiring about incidents and when I told him about the Sukma incident, he immediately told me he would like to contribute and do his bit for the families of the martyred jawans, we are all grateful to him for this kind gesture,” said a source closely involved with this development.

Akshay Kumar has a golden heart. He has not only portrayed his patriotism by his words and actions, on a regular basis. He has delivered back-to-back nation-centric movies, stories of which have been etched in every Indian heart and left a very strong and positive impression.

Last year, he said that medals are important for the army men but they also need money. “They are decorated with lot of medals and that is good. But I looked at their faces. The samman was required for them but they need money too. You have to be practical,” said Akshay Kumar.

‘Naam Shabana’ and Rajnikant’s Sci-fi ‘2.0’ is what the generous actor is currently gearing for. Infact 2.0 has already been sold for a whopping amount before it’s release.
