According to reports, Anjali Arora has filed a defamation case against various media outlets, alleging that they damaged her reputation by circulating the fabricated video. Anjali has asserted that the false video not only cost her job opportunities but also caused significant mental distress.

Anjali couldn’t file a complaint at the time due to her participation in the reality show Lock Upp season 1, which restricted her access to the outside world. According to a Zoom report, an FIR has now been lodged, and the police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
