Always wanted to take family vacation to South India, your good days are mid-way. Read Why?

If you were planning to take your family for a sweet vacation in the lands down South, there is a great news for you to love everything about that trip. Let me break the news to you, now! The distance between Chennai to Bengaluru will be formidably shortened to 30 minutes.

This incredible idea has stemmed up from a US-based company, Hyperloop. This genius corporation is a brainchild of Elon Musk.

This impressive idea is all set to transform and revamp the way Indians travel to southern states for work or leisure.

As per the proposal, people will be able to travel in pod trains at 1,200 kmph through a tube supported on pillars.

If you were wondering how is this mechanism even possible. Then read on. The train manages to hit this speed because it floats in a vacuum inside the tunnel. If this plan is implemented, then Mumbai will be over an hour away and Bengaluru will be just 30 minutes away.

The company has already approached the Union Ministry of Road Transport to freeze the deal and forward the work processes to get the project going.

The first line in the World will be  between Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the next five years. This will supposedly cut down travel time from 90 minutes to 12 minutes.

The anticipated cost of this proposal is projected at Rs. 300 crore to build 1 km of a high-speed line. However, the company is optimistic about it will take a smaller amount of Rs. 72 crore per km.

A lot of work is in process to manifest the proposal. Every effort to cut down the cost of the proposal is being made by the concerned authorities. Solar panels will be placed on top of the tubes and windmills on the pillars to tap energy so that the operational cost is reduced.

“Any plan which aims at high speed connectivity is good. But they may take more than a decade to take off because of different reasons,” a senior railway official said.

The official further added, “There will be procedural delays and time taken for approvals from the government.”

We can’t wait any longer to see the improved and unmatchable phase of Indian transport system.
