While Amazon Is Making Itself Offline, Wal-Mart Continuous With Its Online Affair

Amazon and Wal-Mart were not on very different grounds and were in a world of healthy competition but the scenario seems to take a shift these days. Both the world recognized giants are into constant acquisition to compete on the other grounds.

Very soon, we will see Amazon’s bricks and mortar existence which would be different from its ongoing online existence.

We just need to know that when will the plan see the light of the day. We can just hope that the store will be high-tech model manifesting its opulence like Amazon Go grocery store. Amazon Go was announced during the early months of this year.

Physical bookstores are a new reality for Amazon online giant. Amazon runs on this notion of making its products available at every corner of the consumer world. In the year 216, Amazon could score the revenue worth $136 billion which barely makes a quarter part of WalMart’s $486 billion.

Just like, it did its presence discerned with following business feature which was manifested with its retail presence physically; it would most likely follow the similar path.

In the year 2015, Walmart made an important announcement of salary hike for its employees. Many took it as a political move by the company to bring up their recognition in the market.

The reports also say that, Wal-Mart is also looking to acquire men’s fashion retail line. Amazon has appeared as a strongly based e-Commerce giant but it could not go so far at making its own brands recognized. This led to a successful exposure for Wal-Mart.

Wal-Mart has a moving ownership structure and cash flow posture. Company’s 51 percent shares are owned by the Walton family.

With a vision of bringing up the probable duopoly, Amazon and Wal-Mart are splurging fortunes. This seems not very fortunate for the retail industry out there.
