102 Not Out: Amitabh Turns Composer, Rishi Kapoor makes singing debut for Badumbaaa

The upcoming flick 102 Not Out starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor playing the father-son duo will have a promotional song Badumbaaa that is going to be special for various reasons. Not only it has the two actors grooving to the beats of the song but it has also unleashed their creative side. While Big B has composed the song, RK has lent his voice to the song.

It’s needless to say that the trailer has already got the viewers excited and now the promotional songs Badumbaaa has built up the anticipations even more. The teaser of the song has been already unveiled in which we the cool father is trying to convince his old school son to let go of the worries and shake his legs while the son wears a grumpy look on his face.

The Director of the film Umesh Shukla revealed that even though the makers wanted to use a medley of their past songs like Chal Mere Bhai and Lambuji Tinguji, but Big B suggested making a totally new song. He also told Mumbai Mirror that when Rishi Kapoor was asked to sing, he was a little skeptical but after turning up for the rehearsal, he agreed to record for the song.

The song was shot in the Film City in 3 days and steps have been choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. It’s about living life to the fullest which is actually the concept of the film. It narrates the life of a 102-year-old man who wants to outlive the oldest man in the world but his 75-year-old son who takes life very seriously.
