The demise of the DMK President and former chief minister of Tamil Nadu, M Karunanidhi brought tears to his of followers, family, and politicians. He took his last breath on 7th August at the age of 94. He was keeping up unwell from very long. He was laid to rest at Marina Beach in a solemn ceremony. It is wonderful to see the creative abilities of Amul for paying tribute to one of the loved leaders of India. Check it out.


Thousands of people gathered to attend the last rites of the veteran leader. But, the Amul’s tribute to the Kalaignar with this lovely art is remarakable. This creative illustration released by Amul showcases M. Karunanidhi on his chair dressed in white attire, along with the stole and his glasses. Amul has labeled him Tamil Thalaivar. He is being greeted by Amul girl and smiling back at her. A paper script is also seen on his lap which symbolizes his background as a screenwriter and poet.

Undoubtedly, Amul is a masterpiece of creating unique and meaningful creative. It has made people surprised with its artistic skills and distinguished thoughts in making cartoons. The Amul girl looks simply amazing in the recent cartoon posted by Amul.

M Karunanidhi
Born on 3 June 1924, Muthuvel Karunanidhi or M. Karunanidhi was a politician who served as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for almost two decades over five terms between 1969 and 2011. He had also worked as a writer. People also called him Kalaignar (artist in Tamil) and made contributions to Tamil literature.
