Isha Ambani, daughter of Nita and Mukesh Ambani, will get married to her long-time friend and industrialist Anand Piramal on December 12.
“We are delighted to share that the marriage of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal will take place in the residence of Shri Mukesh Ambani and Smt. Nita Ambani in Mumbai with family members and close friends on 12th December, 2018. The ceremonies will be performed in accordance with Indian traditions, customs and culture,” a statement by the Ambanis and the Piramals said.
The Ambanis have announced their daughter’s marriage dates and venue, trashing the rumours. “We are delighted to share that the marriage of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal will take place in the residence of Shri Mukesh Ambani and Smt. Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani will marry industrialist and long-time friend Anand Piramal on December 12. The first invite of their wedding has been offered to the Ganesha at the Siddhivinayak temple. Their wedding isn’t much of an arranged marriage, as the two have known each other since their childhood.
“During the weekend prior to the wedding, the Ambani and Piramal families will host their friends and family in Udaipur, where they are partnering with artisans and craftsmen to integrate local culture and traditions into the festivities,” the statement added.
Who proposed who?
Well, it was the most basic proposal of all times, wherein the man proposed to his lady at a temple. The duo was joined by their parents Nita, Mukesh, Swati and Ajay, who enjoyed a happy lunch together.
Their engagement took place, with Lake Como in the backdrop. The event was attended by Bollywood stars like Sonam Kapoor and her hubby Anand Ahuja, Anil Kapoor, Juhi Chawla and many more.
