MS Dhoni has become the first Indian wicketkeeper to have 400 dismissals credited to his name in his ODI career. The former captain achieved this milestone just recently while playing the 3rd ODI against South Africa. The right-hand batsman and stand-in-skipper Aiden Markram was the 400th victim to be dismissed by Dhoni.
Looking at the list of all the wicketkeepers, Dhoni is fourth in the list below Kumar Sangakkara (Sri Lanka), Gilchrist (Australia), and MV Boucher (South Africa). The top slot is acquired by Sangakkara who has 482 dismissals in his name followed by 472 dismissals by Gilchrist, and 424 by MV Boucher.

The total number of catches by Dhoni is 294, which is far less than Sangakkara. However, when it comes to stumpings, Dhoni is still number 1 with the maximum number of 106, which no other wicketkeeper in the world has achieved. Considering his current stature he is likely to go even further till the 2019 World Cup.
