He recently got married to noted actor Anushka Sharma in a private location in Italy. His charisma and enigma have bought him many laurels for himself and the country. He is the perfect captain, perfect son, perfect ambassador and is Last night, he proved that he was a perfect husband too.
The newlywed couple Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli hosted their wedding reception in Delhi yesterday at the Taj Conclave. The couple wore the staple Sabyasachi outfits. While Virat wore a black bandhgala with 16-carat golden buttons, Anushka decided to wear a red Sabya saree with chokers and jadau jewellery enveloping her entire neck.
At the reception venue, Anushka and Virat were climbing up the stage and Virat handheld his lady and exuded chivalry. He escorted her wife warmly and their infallible chemistry affirmed that ‘Couples are made in heaven’. While walking the stairs, Anushka expressed some issue with walking up the stairs with the saree. And the thoughtful (or should we say doting) Virat called for a couture help within no time. The couple then posed for the cameras.
While the couple was posing for the cameras, it was Virat rather than Anushka who was guiding which side to pose. Virat is an utter combination of smartness, good looks, and chivalry. And there ain’t any doubt about it. All said and done, the highlight of the event was the entry of PM Modi and his photograph with the couple.
