Back to Back blasts rocks Guwahati’s commercial area Fancy Bazar occurred on Saturday afternoon 4th December 2015. The intensity of these blast was low says early reports from scene. A further media reports informs that at least two individuals were killed in the blast, while a number of people were left injured.
The further briefing released by both local and national news channels confirms that, explosion took place in a dustbin lying in the locality, where two persons were found injured. Local police department has started investigation and are putting efforts to ascertain whether a bomb was planted on the site or grenades were used.
Police department has kept anti-talk Ulfa (Independent) as their prime suspect, as the group was targeting Hindi speaking people of the state. Fancy Bazar locality being a commercial center of Guwahati has high concentration of Hindi-speaking traders.
