Bahubali Franchise to release Bahubali Prequel before Sequel

Bahubali: The Conclusion will release after Bahubali: the Beginning is re-released in Indian cinemas.

Before Bahubali: the Conclusion releases on April 28, the Bahubali franchisee have decided to release Bahubali 1 at the theatres across India. This is considered as a never before move in Indian cinema history.

Releasing  the prequel before the sequel is an  unprecedented marketing move in the history of Indian cinema. The distributors of the Hindi version of the original Bahubali saga have decided to re-release the first instalment of Bahubali a fortnight before the second part releases.

Director S S Rajamouli is all for the idea. “It is a fantastic idea. Because when Bahubali – The Beginning released in July 2015, it was not a big film.

“Of course, there are still lots of people in the northern states, who haven’t watched part 1 in the theatre. So, I think it is definitely a fantastic idea, said Bahubali director S S Rajamouli.

There are two advantages of this release. Because the cinema halls are vacant due to dearth of good content, Bahubali will stand chances to earn good revenue and also entertain the public at large.

As Bahubali is the Bollywood blockbuster, however, many people couldn’t watch it the first time as initially, it wasn’t expected as a major flick. When it will release again, those people who hadn’t watched it previously will get a chance to watch it.

Owing to the grandeur of the film and it’s splendid scenes which are better when you see it on-screen. This will usher in renewed spirits and fervor for the ‘Bahubali’ franchisee.

Not only this, the Bahubali theme parks will also be constructed in a phased manner. The first phase will see the construction of the Park in Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata, followed by Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Cochi and other cities.
