The first day of collector SP conference kicked off with great gusto. Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje addressed the conference while stabilizing the dwindling confidence of the state cops.
“Honesty, hard work and commitment have helped the state government deliver good governance to the public. Now, it is time to further speed up for completion within the time limit and ensure that rest of the promises were kept,” CM Raje asserted.
CM Raje said that people’s undeterred satisfaction is the reflection of good governance in the state. “I am happy that we have fulfilled this parameter,” she said.
Officers should be good listeners
Apart from being effective orators, CM Raje highlighted the importance of becoming good listeners too.Raje gave huge impetus to strengthening effective communication between government and the Aam Aadmi. She said that the district administration should expedite their operations; be quick and alert.
CM Raje also asked the concerned district collectors to identify talented officers and employees whose talent could be deployed for sensitive and effective governance. She also welcomed new ideas and strategies. She urged everyone to share their strategic ideas with the Chief Secretary to implement these in other districts.
Technology is the way forward
Being an informed Chief Minister that she is, Raje said that many young officers are tech-savvy and are up-to-date with technological nuances. CM Raje proved that she is an unconventional minister as she urged collectors to think out of the box.
Resolve Pending issues
With Collaborative efforts of Collectors and officials of various state departments, it is possible to resolve all impending issues.
The last Collector-SP Conference in November 2016, Chittorgarh, Hanumangarh, Pali, Ajmer and Bhilwara had topped the districts respectively in effective implementation of central and the state government schemes.
