Bonjour India is a platform where many renowned people of their fields share their journeys of changing the society. Bonjour India is a fourth month long festival that begins from November 18, 2017. This is the third edition of the fest that will start from Jaipur’s historical Amber Fort. In this event that continues from November 2017 to February 2018. More than 100 programmes and projects will be organized in this festival. This fest celebrates the innovation of two nations -India and France. Bonjour India will be traversing in 30 cities across 20 states & union territories.
What is there in festival?
Under Bonjour India, exhibitions, concerts, literary meetings, film festivals, debates, conferences and food festivals will take place. It also organizes various economic, educational and scientific exchanges. At this fest, various facets of Indian and French contemporary creation can be enjoyed.
Talking about the previous two editions of Bonjour India on French National Day, Consul General of France in Mumbai, Yves Perrin shared that this fest aimed to enhance the ties of India and France. The previous two editions of Bonjour India were held in year 2009 and 2013. Yves Perrin further added, “This platform will give an opportunity to Indian and French artists, students, researchers and professionals, to work together and deepen their mutual understanding.”
