The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has explained that the official who halted Bollywood actor Salman Khan at the Mumbai Airport was “rewarded” for his professionalism. The explanation came after certain reports asserted that the official has landed in choppy waters for stopping the ‘Dabangg’ star.

Answering this case, the CISF composed on Twitter: “The substance of this tweet is erroneous and without authentic premise. Truth be told, the official concerned has been reasonably compensated for commendable demonstrable skill in the discharge of his obligation.”

The episode occurred on August 20, when Salman showed up at the air terminal. As the entertainer continued towards the terminal, he was stooped by ASI Somnath Mohanty, who signalled him to have his papers looked at from the security designated spot.

ASI Mohanty’s video of halting Salman circulated around the web via web-based media, procuring acclaims for the official. Notwithstanding, a few reports arose recommending that the official, who comes from Odisha, was in a difficult situation for talking with the media about the episode.

The New Indian Express revealed that the CISF had held onto the cell phone of Mohanty of Rayagada for conversing with a media association based out of Odisha.

“The cell phone of Mohanty has been seized as he communicated with the media and it is a break of the convention. His cell phone was seized to guarantee he can’t talk with the media further about the episode,” TNIE cited a CISF staff as saying.

Notwithstanding, presently CISF has explained that the official has been “appropriately compensated for model polished skill in the release of his obligation”.
