
The Union government Wednesday delayed the Class XII CBSE board examinations and “cancelled” the Class X board tests planned to occur in May in the midst of the spike in instances of Covid.
The public authority will audit the circumstance again on 1 June to choose the future game-plan. The move comes after a survey meeting was held by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the circumstance.
“The board exams for Class XII to be held from 4 May to 14 June 2021, are therefore delayed. These exams will be held in the future. The circumstance will be explored on 1 June 2021 by the board, and subtleties will be shared hence. A notification of in any event 15 days will be given before the beginning of the assessments,” the Union training service said.
Yet, the Class X board exams were cancelled. “The aftereffects of Class X board will be set up based on a target basis to be created by the [CBSE] . Any competitor who isn’t happy with the imprints distributed to him/her on this premise will be allowed a chance to sit in an exam as and when the conditions are helpful for hold the exams,” the service said.
