In a meeting chaired by CM Vasundhara Raje on day 3 of ‘Aapka Zila, Aapki Sarkaar’ program, important decisions were laid down for district collectors, SDO, BDO, police and government officials. Raje’s surprise visit to Aadarsh schools, Annapurna Bhandar, Karauli district hospital, Aanganbadi and water deficient neighborhoods in Karauli villages revealed poor implementation of government policies. Taking lessons from these failures, Raje probed investigation in this matter. Concurrently, she took important decisions for Karauli’s progress.

  • New Call Centers for Customer Feedback

Raje announced a call center service for Karauli, wherein customers can report problems in their surroundings. All complaints related to power, water, roads, education, employment and healthcare will be reported directly to the call centre managers employed by the government.

  • The Police will Conduct Raids to Check Power Thefts

Power theft is an important issue in rural regions. To put an end to this practice, the IG (Inspector General of Police) and Divisional Commissioner will take strict action against offenders.

  • Rs 1.5 crores Sanctioned for Anjai Mata Temple and Karauli Tourism

To revamp tourist destinations in Karauli, Raje has allotted a budget worth Rs 1.5 crore to Karauli tourism department.

  • New Police station Set up in Daulatpur

Within 24 hours of Raje’s announcement, a new police station was set up in Daulatpura region today. 4 constables and one head constable was appointed at the base to ensure security of natives in Karanpur.

  • 13 New Recruitment in PG Government’s College

13 new vacancies were opened in PG Government College in Karauli. The newly formed posts include 2 new lecturers for geography, 2 new posts in laboratory and 3 new posts each in Chemistry, Physics and Biology for Karauli Government Girl’s College.

  • Government to Wrap up Chambal-SWM-Naduti water project within a year

Considering the increasing demand for clean drinking water in Nadauti, Raje government had announced Chambal-Sawai Madhopur-Nadauti water project in 2003. After 14 long years since the inception of this project, just 35% work was completed on time. Raje instructed the officers in charge to wind up work as soon as possible.

  • Hospitals will Submit a Record of Rajshree Yojana Beneficiaries

The CM instructed the hospital staff to submit a report of total girl children that were born in last six months. Subsequently, they need to verify if the girls and their parents have received the benefits of Rajshree Yojana.

  • Septic Tanks to be Constructed Near Hospital

To maintain hygiene around Karauli hospital, CM Raje instructed hospital administration to get septic tanks near hospital. The staff was instructed to clean up hospitals at regular intervals.

On the whole, Aapka Zila Aapki Sarkaar brought pleasant surprises for Karauli residents. It was an eye-opening experience for Rajasthan government that will speed up inspection process and wind up work before upcoming elections.
