The Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje has celebrated this Independence Day in Ajmer district of Rajasthan with her team and the people of Ajmer. The day started with the hoisting of Tricolor at Ajmer Circuit House. The Hadi Rani Battalion presented the Guard of Honor to Vasundhara Raje. Later she congratulated all her team members and everybody present there, with Independence Day wishes. The Independence Day celebration event was organized in the Patel Ground of the city where CM paid her tribute to the freedom fighters of the country because of whom we are able to breathe in a free India. From the event, she urged the youth of the state to participate in the making of a prosper, wealthier and economically stable Rajasthan. It is very important to keep the spirit of those freedom fighters into our heart because of whom we achieved such heights. On this occasion, she invited all the youth to come forward and join the league in transforming Rajasthan into a better place to live. Along with this, she made several important announcements for the people of the state from the Patel Ground.

Following are some of the crucial announcements that were the part of CM Vasundhara Raje’s speech:

  • Panchayat Camps from 2nd October: Vasundhara Raje is of the opinion that there are several problems of people and locals which are not able to reach to the top or often people are unable to express them. Because of this, for the first time in India and Rajasthan, many Panchayat Camps will be organized in many areas and villages so that people can directly come there and register their issue to directly reach the authorities. Such camps will be organized from 2nd October, on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi Anniversary, in various villages and regions.
  • Interest Free Agricultural Loan to Farmers of Rs. 1500 crores: This is one of the major and most important announcements made by Vasundhara Raje that farmers of Rajasthan will be granted a total of Rs. 1500 crores through cooperative banks. Also, she announced that city collector will now single handedly issue the permit to remove the Gypsum layer up to 5 hectare land. This will result into an increase in the production output of the farmers and thus will provide them with surplus monetary benefits.
  • Forty thousand women will be employed through Ajivika and Manrega: CM announced that 40,000 women will be given an opportunity to join and work under Aajivika and Manrega government schemes so that they could become self-dependent. It will make them capable in managing their work in their farms along with knowing the details of construction of shed for cattle.
  • Announcements for SC/ST: CM said that the students of SC/ST will be provided with a liberty of up to 5% in three ministerial posts entrance laws like Rajasthan Secretariat, Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) and Rajasthan Subordinate Service Rules 1999 ministerial office law. A new provision will be introduced for this purpose. Under this, all the posts for direct recruitment will be covered so that more people can be benefitted by it. Also, the people who have retired from the Government jobs will be able to take the benefit of online application for Pension software, which will be introduced soon.
  • Solution to Students-friends problem: The problem of Students-friends is pending from quite a long time. CM Raje expressed her concern over the issue and explained that the Government is trying to sort the matter but the legal proceedings are quite lengthy and time-consuming. But from now, the Government will lay more emphasize on the issue and will take a positive step towards a solution in the coming 2-3 months.
  • Schools to be renovated with increased level of Education: CM Raje explained that the level of education has risen in the past 3 years of this Government. A continuous development and work in this field has lead to an improvement in the results of year 2013. The state has made a record as the Science steam has shown an improvement of 47% as compared to 34% along with the application of 9,00,000 students in the stream. A total of Rs. 204 crores has been invested in 350 schools under the National Secondary Education Program for more than 2,000 projects. The money will be invested for making the facilities like Computer Room, Art and Craft Room, Library, etc. along with drinking water.
  • Training of Teachers: 9 regional educational Department with a total of 12 training centers will be constructed for the technical training of the teachers and for updating of their knowledge.
  • Driving centers at the Regional Departments: To encourage the youth of the state and involve them in talent development, CM Raje has urged all to join Rajasthan Mission on Livelihood. She informed everyone that there is no district in the state which doesn’t have an ITI partnership with a big brand. CM informed that for the training and development of youth, many driving training centers will be constructed at Ajmer and Railmagra in the next 2-3 months. Along with this, Government has created 9,90,000 employment opportunities in the state.
  • Ambulance Services on 104 and 108: At present, there are many ambulance services in the state for different purposes, like, 108 ambulance service, 104 Janani Express Service, Bus Ambulance Service and 104 Doctor Consultation Service. All these services will be integrated and clubbed under a scheme called, “Jivanvahini Integrated Ambulance Yojna” under 104 and 108 numbers. It will be very beneficial to the patients as they will be able to receive timely medical assistance.
  • Start of 295 Adarsh PHC: On the occasion of 70th Independence Day celebration, CM announced that 295 Adarsh Initial Health Centers will be constructed in the rural areas with a target of 900 Health Centers by the end of 2017. They will provide services of Allopathy, Ayurvedic and Yoga. The instruments and machines used in these and all other health centers will also be monitored under Equipment management and maintenance system.
  • Development of Basic Infrastructure: Vasundhara Raje informed people that for the development of a state, it is very necessary to have a developed infrastructure. For this purpose, the state Government of Rajasthan is highly focused and hence a development of 192% in electricity distribution, 87.55% in water distribution and 140.87% increase in Public Work Department. She said that with the cost of Rs. 1612 crores, almost 4293 Kms road will be constructed all over the state under Prime Minister Gram Sarak Yojna. Also the roads of Ajmer, Dungarpur, PratapGarh, Karoli, Kota, Jhalawar, Jodhpur, Nagor, Alwar, Hanumangarh and Bikaner will be upgraded into main roads. Other than this, the second phase will include construction of Gaurav Path between 2000 state panchayats.
  • There will be sewerage works constructed all around the state for a total of Rs. 500 crores, mainly in the densely populated areas.
  • Ajmer is declared to have every house having the toilet facility. No one in Ajmer is now forced to go for sanitation purpose in an open area. Also, she pledges to make Pali, Churu, Jhunjhunu and Ganganagar like Ajmer in sanitation. Till now, 2329 village panchayats have being modified on these terms.
  • CM Vasundhara Raje informed that everyday a total of Rs. 13 crores are spent on new drinking water schemes, everyday 125 hectares of land is being connected to irrigation facilities and everyday 155 youth are getting skilled training. CM was feeling proud and excited to announce that due to the hark work of her Government, a total of 1095 youths are getting employment are getting employment every day. Also, around 14 kms long road is constructed every day with the cost of Rs. 4.54 crores.

It was a proud moment for CM Vasundhara Raje to celebrate the Independence Day in Ajmer and announce all these schemes for the welfare of the people of Rajasthan.
