CM Vasundhara Raje Projects Rajasthan As Digital-sthan Of India


Today was Rajasthan IT Day and Smt. Vasundhara Raje wholeheartedly praised the elevated levels of IT sector in Rajasthan. At center Modi Govt. realized the need of digital India and Rajasthan followed the lead with a fast pace. She extensively invited the youths of the state to come forward and make Rajasthan as Digital-sthan of India.

While  addressing the attendees  at  IT Day event held at Birla auditorium, Jaipur, she highlighted the importance of power and transparency of IT. Along with this, she inaugurated and gave her consent to the country’s first IP Telephony Hotline which is first of its kind in the country. Also, Bhamashah State Data Centre was started by the CM.

Focusing on the development of common folks, CM Vasundhara Raje asked the officials to keep the Digital Rajasthan Exhibition as a permanent display and open to everybody. This has been done to ensure that the visitors and common people get the gist of latest technology.

During her previous tenure, CM Raje had started the e-Mitra centers which was adopted in the whole nation. Currently, Rajasthan has 40,000 e-Mitra kiosks which is higher than the set standards.

Other areas where Rajasthan is excelling are Smart Streetlight to Waste Management, Integrated Payment Gateway and State Wide GPS monitoring vehicles.

CM Vasundhara Raje highlighted the fact that, Rajasthan has won many national awards for pioneering in the area of IT.

Also, who can forget the start up policy announced by the state govt. to nourish emerging technology and foster the new ideas and opportunities among youth.

Also, the prizes were distributed to the winning teams in various competitions held during the summit. During this, whooping prizes like Rs. 15 lakh, Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 7.5 lakh were given to the winning teams. The well celebrated and Well-led Rajasthan IT day manifests the effort of Raje govt. towards the vision of developing Rajasthan.
