According to a recently revised guideline shared by the Government of India, fully vaccinated international travelers to India can leave the airport and do not need to be quarantined at home today.
Negative RT-PCR reports are mandatory for all international passengers arriving in India. Not only that, all airlines also validate the Covid test report before embarking on a foreign traveler.
“The existing guidelines for international arrival in India have been revised to take into account the expanding coverage of global immunization and the changing nature of pandemics,” the government said in a statement.
We will follow the new guidelines for passengers arriving in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Nepal, Belarus, Lebanon, Armenia, Ukraine, Belgium, Hungary and Serbia. Additional measures will be taken for passengers arriving in India from endangered countries such as South Africa, Brazil, Bangladesh, Botswana, China, Mauritius, New Zealand and Zimbabwe.
Latest guidelines for foreign travelers to India
1. Travelers, whether partially vaccinated or not, must take steps such as submitting a Covid-19 test sample upon arrival. Then leave the airport, give a 7-day home warranty and come back-on the 8th day after arriving in Test India, if it is negative, follow your health for the next 7 days.
2. The new guidelines provide protocols that international travelers should follow, as well as protocols that airlines, access points (airports, ports, and borders) should follow to create a passenger risk profile. 3. Passengers must also submit a statement regarding the authenticity of the report and will be liable for criminal proceedings unless otherwise stated.

5.5. The airline will allow passengers who complete the self-assessment form on the Air Suvidha portal to board.
After the fever test, only asymptomatic passengers can board.
7. This standard operating procedure (SOP) is valid from Monday to new orders. According to the ministry, this document will be reviewed from time to time based on the risk assessment.
