Recently, Dawood Ibrahim, the crime-godfather underwent a serious knock-out from the UAE authorities. UAE authorities have confirmed the news that assets worth Rs 15,000 crore owned by the crime-lord have been seized on their soil.

The ruling BJP has cited media reports on most wanted criminal Dawood Ibrahim’s properties worth 15,000 crores being seized by the United Arab Emirates to credit Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a “major diplomatic success”.

If you were thinking it was only the UAE authorities which have contributed to this massive success, I take immense pride in telling you that the major contributor was our country’s ruling party, BJP. BJP leader Shri Narendra Modi handed over a dossier to the UAE government on his trip to the Arabic lands in 2015. The dossier divulged details of a larger portion of Dawood’s assets. BJP truly became a rockstar when the news broke out.

The Indian government too expressed in their tweet that the action against Dawood Ibrahim was based on the documents furnished by the party.

It is also a known fact, that after the Bombay serial attacks, India has been consistently tracking down Ibrahim to keep a tab on his activities.

“Major diplomatic success of PM Modi: One of India’s most wanted criminals, Dawood Ibrahim’s properties worth Rs. 15,000 crore seized in UAE,” the BJP tweeted.

It is believed that Dawood Ibrahim has been camouflaged in Pakistan’s Karachi.

Ibrahim has sure earned a recognition by the UN. UN has designated Ibrahim as a ‘global terrorist’.

He has been accused of plotting the 1993 serial blasts in Mumbai in which 257 people were killed. Moreover, he has been declared as a major mastermind of all the major terror attacks happened all over the globe.

As an addition to the terror activity, this sinister man has also left his trace in a slew of money laundering cases and enormous extortion. He has also been accused of funding major terror groups like
al Qaeda and Lashkar-e-Taiba.

The dossier also said that he had “amassed immense property in Pakistan” and has been continuously  changing his locations in the country.

Reports have validated the facts about the contents of the dossier. In 2015, on his visit to UAE, PM Modi accompanied by Doval submitted a useful dossier to the officials of the Trucial states. India furnished a confidential list of properties to the UAE government.
