Day 1 of BRICS Women Parliamentarian’s Forum 2016 In Jaipur

They say there is no tool of development more effective than the empowerment of the women. There is no force equal to a woman determined to rise. Being a positive and self-determining woman herself, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje understands that we need to invest in women and peace, not only because it is the right thing to do for all of us to build sustainable and lasting peace today, but because it is or the future.
Herself being a lead and monitoring the country’s largest state, she believes that if given a kick start to the women of the state, they will not only do wonders but will lead their lives being role models for many others. Vasundhara Raje understands that women must not be in the boundations of any and be allowed to be their own self.

After launching some key initiatives schemes for the girls and women of her state like Bhamasha, Apni Beti, Mukhbir and Rajshri yojana, she has already lifted up the women of her state like never before. Women have been walking shoulder to shoulder to men in India be it sports, politics, entertainment or management. Talking about women’s participation in Indian politics, currently the country has a total of 94 women in the upper house and lower house of the parliament and 62 women working in different states of the country.
