Shinde has also written the story and is co-producing the project along with Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment. The tag line – ‘Life is a ride and you gotta keep moving!’ is going viral on internet with the movie’s first poster featuring Alia and SRK riding bicycle. The actors chose an unconventional way to promote the movie. Unlike others, Dear Zindagi team is engaging audience through social media handles by sharing mini-clips of Alia and Shahrukh asking questions about life. Alia posted a video wherein she asks SRK, “Dear Zindagi, you know what Tuesday makes me? Tuesday makes me impatient. Today is Tuesday and Tuesday deserves something, give me something please?” To this, Shahrukh replied while in shower and singing, “Dear Zindagi, gale laga le.” Well, this surely is one of the most quirkiest way to engage audience.

The plot of the movie revolves around a hopeless filmmaker played by Alia Bhatt where SRK is playing the role of her mentor. The movie which is set to release on Nov 25, 2016 also stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Kunal Kapoor, Ali Zafar and Angad Bedi as Alia’s boyfriends through different stages in her life.

In lieu with the current circumstances between India and Pakistan, the producers have decided not to show Pakistani actor Ali Zafar in any of the promotional teasers of the film. The expectations from the film are sky high given the storyline and cast of the movie. Where Alia Bhatt is looking all chic and fresh in her role, SRK has been given a more intense and serious look.

After Monday and Tuesday viral mini-clips, audiences seem excited of what Wednesday will bring for them!
