As the 74th Golden Globe Awards is under way, the two Bajirao Mastani actors, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone have raised temperatures at the majestically grand event. Eye-popping appearances of both the Indian actresses have left us wanting for more. Although Priyanka was at the event from the very beginning, Deepika made a surprise entry, hours later the event had started.
Both the actors have perhaps coincidently decided to wear a Ralph Lauren ensemble. Priyanka wore a gold sequinned gown with an enviable neckline. She was flaunting her ever-green diamond pendant, which really caught all the eye-balls. Semsous eyes and let-free hair added to the look. Deepika chose to wear a yellow off-shoulder gown with minimalist details, chose heavy tresses over deep curls. She was seen wearing a pair of beautiful earrings with a mammoth pearl tangling down the ear-piece.
Deepika’s stylist, Shaleena Nathani took to her instagram to give a wait-for-more glimpse.
The Desi girl has sure won hearts of all the spectators across the globe with all her red-carpet appearances, however, Golden Globe Awards 2017 didn’t fare well for the vibrant actress. She was slotted amongst the worst dressed by a few magazines, while some placed her at the very top. A series of erstwhile appearances at the international awards be it her sensuous Zuhair Murad white dress at Oscars 2016 or the twirling hot red gown by Jason Wu at the Emmy’s, the actress has made impeccable impressions on the red-carpet. This time too, the whole of media was literally yearning to catch a glimpse of the actor. However, on her appearance, they didn’t appreciate it much.
“Priyanka Chopra is usually a red carpet star. For the Golden Globes, the Quantico star showed up dipped in gold, yet her dress left much to be desired in its fit and styling of the sequins,” wrote E News. Contrastingly, while Elle UK and Radar slotted her in the best-dressed list. “Best: Hello gorgeous! Priyanka Chopra was not only ready for the Golden Globe party, she was glowing golden herself in that dress!”
The Quantico actor presented an award at the ceremony to none other than Billy Bob Thornton for his bravura performance in TV series, Goliath. At the 74th Golden Globe Awards. Impressively, she co-presented the honour with JD Morgan.
But what ever her dress lacked, we are in awe for the formidable kisses she blew out for the spectators, and lips painted in ox-blood, and ofcourse the phenomenal lady herself, whose charm and aura is enough to survive for a lifetime.
A more wondrous moment will be when both the Indian stellar ladies come together to pose and answer the media. Won’t that be quite adorable. Oh my! Can’t wait enough to see what the awards have in store for all the fanatics across the globe.
Priyanka’s hollywood film debut ‘Baywatch’ is slated to release in 2017 summers, while Deepika’s hollywood debut xXx will release this week. Well, we wish these super woman all the luck.:)
