Demonetisation Is A Move Towards Cashless and Terror Free Society – Manohar Parikar

On Monday, Defence Minister Manohar Pariikar came up with the statement that, demonetisation, which is a “surgical strike” by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the black wealth has blocked the financial support for terrorism and crime.

At BJP Vijay Sankalp rally at Sanguem, Manohar Parrikar said, “This is a surgical strike which the Prime Minister has done on black money,  terror funding and drug money. The citizens of the country have supported the Prime Minister’s move whole-heartedly”.

He also highlighted the fact that, ” Demonetisation is another war by the Prime Minister. This is war against black money which affects the economy of the state. Black money is responsible for inflation in the country. Due to demonetisation, money which was being fed to terrorists, criminals has stopped.”

He emphasized much on the benefits to the country related  in terms of less terror attacks.

He mentioned that, ” We have been giving a tit-for-tat to the enemy along the border. The country’s borders are now completely secure”.

He quotes a senior police officer, and said that, ” There are people to give contract to kill, but there is no money”. He did not mention any names but highlighted the fact that, the enemy has been given an appropriate reply.

He brought the process of “cashless society” in limelight and mentioned that the procedure has begun. Manohar Parrikar is previous chief minister of Goa and also brought the fact in notice that the state is aiming to avoid the cash usage to a great extent by December 30th, 2016. This is a big change and a substantial step towards building a cashless society.

The present defence minister also said that, “Bank officials and government officers will educate people on the use of mobile (phones) for cashless transactions”.

By his statements, we can figure out one thing that, demonetization is a bigger move than we can imagine. With preceding time, it is unfolding the favourable ideas behind it. Surely, this move by the government is for next generation, not for next election.
