Dholpur Elections 2017: High hopes pinned on to the Assembly elections, Congress was riding high in major anticipation of a massive victory. But on March 11, Congress was awarded an eyewash certificate which clearly hinted that people have lost trust in the oldest Indian party, Indian National Congress.
Even powerful leaders like Akhilesh Yadav and Harish Rawat were shown a red flag in the recent elections, which spoke volumes about India’s masses and what they believe. BJP won the recent elections with a thumping mandate in states like the Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand too.
In 2017, BJP sealed a massive landslide victory in the state of Uttar Pradesh, a state in which BSP and SAPA had ruled for 15 years at a stretch, depriving all stellar candidates from the throne of Uttar Pradesh.

The BSP MLA, B.L. Kushwah in Dholpur was convicted for a murder case which is apparently more of Honour-Killing. Owing to his suddent ousting from the constituency and administration, Shobha Rani, Kushwah’s wife was accorded the status of BJP MLA Kushwah, after she grabbed a BJP ticket.
Ms. Shobharani has also been accused of misleading many innocent and naïve investors . She established chit funds and promised lucrative returns to the investors which acted as a bait for many.
Dholpur election will clearly reiterate people’s belief in BJP and it’s workers. The Dholpur election will engender predictability about the mentality of Rajasthan dwellers. With the Rajasthan state assembly elections in 2018, the Dholpur elections will become an event of paramount importance.
Caste based votes to Kushwah played in his favour. The murderer’s party holds a significant strength among 1.82 lakh voters in Dholpur. Kushwah is still a popular face in the district, despite his wrong-doings and acts of perfidy.
Amidst this, rumours are also abuzz that the INC is relying on his lethargic former MLA Banwari Lal Sharma to weave a success story in the upcoming Dholpur Elections.
The centre reigning party which has made a remarkable difference in the Indian political framework is indubiously BJP. A strong contender in the elections is
