The 90s era saw a lot many talented actresses and one of them was Divya Bharti, the cutest actresses of Hindi cinema. Not just her charismatic looks but people were a huge fan of her acting as well. Making an entry into Bollywood at a very early age of 16, the actress worked in several films within a very short time interval. Sadly, she died at a very young age on 5th April 1993 leaving the fans completely shocked.

Here are some lesser-known facts about Divya Bharti, the Bollywood Diva with extremely attractive and adorable features:

• Although Divya started getting acting offers at the age of 14, her career took off at the age of 16 with a Telugu movie titled Bobbili Raja in 1990.
• She acted in 14 Hindi films between 1992 and 1993 which is still an unbroken record for any newcomer in the film industry. Many of these turned out to be huge hits including Shola Aur Shabnam and Deewana.

• Reportedly, she got married to filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala in 1992 and for this, she even converted to Islam and changed her name to Sanah Nadiadwala.

• There are many films that she was supposed to work on but that didn’t happen. A film based on her love life titled Love Behind The Border got shelved due to unknown reasons.

• It’s said that she was the first choice of Aditya Chopra to essay the role of Simran in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. She was also supposed to be cast in Raj Kanwar’s Ladla but due to her sudden demise, Sri Devi stepped in.

• The actress died at the age of 19 in mysterious conditions and many still believe that it was a murder. It’s said that she was actually at a stage in her life where she was really happy and content with her success.

• She died by falling off the balcony of her living room on the 5th floor of the building. Interestingly, the window of her balcony had an auto stop but at that time the auto stop wasn’t there. Moreover, the parking lot underneath the window which usually used to be accommodated with cars had no cars that day.
