Here’s how Doval Saved Modi from Embarrassing Himself at the White House!

This is Indian prime minister Narendra Modi’s first visit to US President Donald Trump’s ‘humble abode’, that is White House in Washington D.C. and Modi could’ve embarrassed himself up there on the podium, if not for Ajit Doval who saved the day.

How Modi Could’ve Embarrassed Himself in Front of the International Paparazzi…

Both Modi and Trump were all set to address a large congregation in a face-to-face conference at the White House. The leaders were expected to talk about Indo-American ties and matters of great importance, such as trade, terrorism, energy and border security.  The meeting held prior to the conference went well and it was time to address the audience, mainly reporters.

President Trump led the way and while he was delivering his speech, Modi’s speech papers that were kept on the dais fell down. Unaware of this fact, Modi continued to listen to Trump. As he was getting ready for his turn, Mr. Ajit Doval—the most trusted aide of Modi rushed to save him from the apparent embarrassment.

Doval, who happens to be the national security advisor of India, rushed to the stage and recovered the papers. All this happened in Rose Garden inside the White House. We could just imagine how embarrassing it would’ve been for Modi, had Doval not recovered and arranged his papers.

Though the crowd hardly noticed this, one of the onlookers shot its video and uploaded it on the YouTube. Needless to say, it went viral all over the internet. While the crowd was praising Doval for his carefulness, we can’t help but wonder that why our leaders are dependent on some measly papers to convey their expressions! Can’t we express our thoughts and expressions in our own language?
