Ed Sheeran had shaken India on November 19 when the world’s most loved singer apparently performed at his concert in Mumbai. Fans and followers flew in from different parts of the globe to catch a glimpse of the star. He was performing in India as a part of his Asian leg of his “Divide” tour.
The father of the iconic song “Shape of You, Sheeran also expressed his inclination and desire to work with Shah Rukh Khan. He said he will love to shoot something with Shah Rukh in Bollywood style.
On his visit to India, he said he loved the culture and that everything is so good. “I love being here. The culture is completely different, the music, food, clothes, people, everything is so good. I am having a great time here,” he said about his visit.
On being asked about so many versions of Ed Sheeran, he said, “Yes, I was aware of it and I loved it. Another culture, where I saw this happening was the Caribbean. They had a lot of versions. I embrace it all.”
However, Ed Sheeran proved he his quite modest when he said: “I am surprised that people like my music here despite having “great Hindi music” here. “I wonder why people are interested in my music when there is so much good music here as well. In England, there is so much great English music so why would they like to hear anything else? Similarly, there is so much great Hindi music here, so I wonder why would they like to hear anything else,” he added.
The 26-year old pop star partied with all Bollywood celebs such as Shahrukh, Shahid Kapoor, Karan Johar, Katrina Kaif, Kriti Sanon. The party was hosted by ace director Farah Khan.
