This is a partnership project of Insomniac and OML with Budweiser India, who agreed to bring world’s largest dance music festival to India. It would the first of its kind Vegas-style festival brought to the capital city on 12th and 13th of November. It is a chance for the Indian audience to witness this grand festival and also an opportunity for all the Indian artist and musicians to join the greatest line-up ever witnessed in the country.

Being initiated in 1996, EDC is the next top music festival of the world after Tomorrowland with its flagships held annually in Las Vegas, Nevada, etc. United State sins the homeland for this festival but has an international audience with more than 400,000 music lovers in the last 3-day event in 2015. Till date, EDC has successfully traveled across the UK, Brazil, Mexico and the United States (California, Florida, Nevada, New York).

Insomniac founder Pasquale Rotella is very excited for the event being organized in the colorful Indian capital and said, “Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been fascinated by the country’s colorful and exotic culture. I know it’s a place where the magic of EDC can come alive in a truly unique way.”

The company Budweiser, who is the co-partner in organizing this event, has never been associated with musical events around the world. Vineet Sharma, associate marketing director at AB InBev, India, said: “After Tomorrowland, EDC is the second biggest event globally. We have found that electronic music is picking up and is devoured by the millennial—the core target group (TG) of Budweiser. Globally, it is a rage and in India as well it is something to look out for. With increasing internet penetration and more consumers traveling abroad, the interest around international music is increasing. We want to shape and nurture electronic music space in India by bringing events, curating content and working closely with artists.”

The creativity and sound design of this festival’s participants is truly mesmerizing. It associates some of the most renowned electronic music talents from all over the world to create an overwhelming sheer scale immersive experience.
