Facebook with whole new 360 degree video experience

Mark Zuckerberg who is uplifting all the necessary measures to make facebook experience great and above a level set a benchmark by his latest launch of 360 degree video. Facebook this recent launch by Mark Zuckerberg added a whole new level to Facebook for watching videos. The 360 degree video allows the user to view the video from all possible angles to move the point of view around and actually view the event or performance being recorded.

Well, facebook has assumed it that it can enhance its video experience and we have to see that how this trick played well in the court?  The social network has said you can now post virtual reality-like, immersive videos shot with 360-degrees cameras (like GoPro’s spherical rig), but you can only view them on the web or newer Android devices for now.

This is what Zuckerberg posted on his timeline:

“We just started launching 360 video on mobile.

360 video is a completely new experience because you can move the camera around. This opens new ways of sharing experiences and makes you feel like you’re part of what you’re watching. It’s a step towards even more immersive experiences.

This video was shot in North Korea by ABC News — and panning around lets you experience the kind of thing most people will never see in their lives.

We think people will share a lot more 360 content in the future, especially as technology makes it easier to record it themselves. We’re excited you can discover them on Facebook.”

With the latest marvel of technology, all you need to do is click within the player and drag around to see the scene, while mobile device users move their phone around to see different angles and aspects of the clip. It makes the video experience on Facebook more engaging and interactive, as you’re now able to fully look around and explore things from across the world.

YouTube also supports 360 degree videos as of course the giant of videos can’t lack its footprints in this invention. But if you want to check the user experience through this technology on Facebook, it’s a news.
