Farha Hussain of Rajasthan, becomes the second Muslim to clear UPSC!

Farha Hussain a 26 year old Muslim minority girl has beaten every religion related stereotype by becoming the second Muslim who cleared UPSC Exam 2016. She is from the state of Rajasthan and achieved this success of getting 267th rank in her second attempt. Looking at the vivid streams she attained success in, makes us all want to congratulate this female genius.

Like every other girl, Farha dreamt of many roles to become after growing up. As a child she wanted to be a doctor, and then in her teen age she decided to enter a beauty pageant. But she ended up doing something quite different from all these, as she chose the discipline of law and studied a 5 year law course in Government Law College in Mumbai.

Miss Hussain said, “I studied the five-year integrated law course at Government Law College in Mumbai and was the only one from my batch to find a place in the team of one of the country’s top lawyers, Mahesh Jethmalani.”

With a great family background where her father is Dausa’s District collector and one uncle is a retired IPS Officer while other State Government’s Joint Secretary, Farha had all the motivational and inspirational vibes from her family members and we can clearly see how wonderfully she has made perfect use of that. Even her elder brother and two other cousins are academically brilliant.

Unlike most students who take up an exam like UPSC, Farha Hussain soon realized the excess of importance given to coaching centres. She attended one for a month and left. So we can see it’s all her own hard work which got her to this position.
