French President in Varanasi, PM Modi welcomes him

PM Modi headed to Varanasi Uttar Pradesh. He is visiting the state as French President Emmanuel Macron is on a four-day visit to India. Both PM and CM of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath received him. French President arrived at the Lal Bahadur Shastri International airport today’s morning. These two counterparts will visit Mirzapur district to inaugurate a 100 MW solar power plant. This plant in Mirzapur is Uttar Pradesh’s largest solar power plant.

Other plans in the list
From Mirzapur, both the leaders will come back to Varanasi. They will take a boat ride to Dashaswamedh Ghat from Assi Ghat. The leaders will also have private lunch. There is Deen Dayal Hastkala Sankul in Bada Lalpur which will also be visited by them. It is a trade facilitation centre for handicrafts where they interact with artisans. Flagging off the Varanasi-Patna intercity train from Manduadih railway station is also on the list in this visit.

Preparations in Varanasi to welcome French President
To welcome President of France Emmanuel Macron, preparations have been made in holy city of India, Varanasi. The flower decorations can be spotted at various places in Varanasi. Like, huge hoardings of both the counterparts are placed at Assi ghat.

French President Emmanuel Macron India’s visit
Emmanuel Macron, French President had arrived India on Saturday. He is on four-day visit.His wife Brigitte Marie-Claude Macron and other officials accompanied him. He was welcomed by President Ram Nath Kovind, first Lady of India Savita Kovind, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and PM Narendra Modi.
