The much-talked-about biography of Dream Girl Hema Malini was launched. She is not only a veteran actress and Bollywood divas but also a BJP Parliamentarian. The book has been named ‘Beyond The Dream Girl’. This book touches so many untalked events of her life too. The gorgeous and talented actress Deepika Padukone launched the book. She adorned red Banarasi sari by Sabyasachi and gold necklace and earrings for the event.
This book was launched on 69th birthday of Hema Malini i.e. 16 October. Journalist turned writer Ram Kamal Mukherjee has penned Hema’s journey till now in this book. The book launch was held at JW Marriott at Juhu in Mumbai.
Whats’ special?
Gulzar has also shared an anecdote in the book. Ram says, “Gulzar sahab has written in the book about how one just has to observe Hemaji’s life and understand what feminism stands for.” In fact this book has created a lot of buzz as Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s short foreword published in the biography. Hema Malini also expressed her gratitude to PM Modi for his words on her book.
