When it comes to Holi, the very first song to be played is Rang Barse from the film Silsila. Featuring stars like Amitabh-Jaya, and Rekha-Sanjeev Kumar as couples, this song starts with usual celebrations where everyone seems to be enjoying. However, things take an interesting turn when Amitabh drinks too much of Bhaang and starts flirting with Rekha.

While both Rekha and Amitabh continue to dance, their respective spouses Sanjeev and Jaya get a little uncomfortable and the situation gets awkward. The superhit Jodi of Amitabh and Rekha dancing to the lyrics Range Barse still remains one of the best Holi songs of Indian cinema.
