- Holi colour chemicals get deep into the skin, especially dry skin. That’s the reason, we always treat our skins with some oil before diving into the Holi colours. Oils like coconut oil, vitamin E oil and olive oil play the important part. Also, hair can be treated with mustard oil before one hour of Holi.
- Areas like behind the ear spots and between the nails areas should be given special care.
- A pair of old sunglasses can be relied upon for saving your eyes. Getting colours in your eyes is never comforting. Avoid it with a fashion regime.
- Try not to play Holi in wet clothes for more than 2 hours. In between the Holi colour and water splashes, you can use curd to easily take the colour off your skin easily.
- Before the sticky layer of oil, you can also apply some sunscreen. A waterproof sunscreen will work better and also an SPF-26 will work for 3 hours. After then, you can choose to reapply it.
- Drinking plenty of water while playing Holi is more needed than you think. Under the sun, it will keep you hydrated.
