AN– 32, a routine courier, from Indian Air Force place is missing with 29 people on board out of which 6 are crew members. The plane started for Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands from Tambaram, Chennai at 8:30 am in the morning.

Just after 16 minutes of flight time i.e at 8.46 a.m, the flight status went missing from the radar and it must on its route which is over the Bay of Bengal. It’s a very tricky situation since the weather conditions were also not an issue as it was partly cloudy when the flight took off.

It has been 6 hours and the four hours flighted plane is still missing. It was supposed to reach the Port Blair airport by 11:30 am, but sadly no clue has been found related to the plane. Another thing to note is that the flight can only fly for four hours without refueling itself, and unfortunately that much amount of time has already passed.

Several search programmes have been launched from the Indian Navy, the Coast Guard and the Indian Air Force.

One P8I aircraft has been sent from Navy’s side, and also one Donier aircraft with four ships namely, Kuthar, Jyoti, Gharial and Karmukh have left to search for the missing plane.

Full scale search and rescue operations are currently going on. all we can hope for is the best and safe news of all the 29 people that are on board.
