In the annual Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Vietnam, President Trump praised India and PM Narendra Modi for country’s “astounding growth” after it opened its economy. US President Donald Trump addressed CEOs at the APEC summit on Friday.
“India is celebrating its 70th anniversary. It’s a sovereign democracy, as well as ..think of this.. (one) of over one billion people,” said the US President today, with the flourish he has come to be known for. “It’s the largest democracy in the world.”

He also quoted saying as. “Since India opened its economy it has achieved astounding growth and a new world of opportunity for its expanding middle class, and PM Modi has been working to bring that vast country and all of its people together as one, and he’s working to bring that vast country and all of its people together as one, and he’s working at it very, very successfully indeed,” Trump said.

Currently, US President Donald Trump on five-nation tour in Asia and will head to the Philippines next. Also, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to leave for the Philippines on Sunday to attend Southeast Asian Nations summit and East Asia summit.
