America’s leading foreign policy journal, in its recent publication on Thursday 17th December alleged that, India is building a secret nuclear city for the production of thermos nuclear weapons. It is also said that with help of this facility country will upgrade power, which would keep its neighbors mainly China and Pakistan unsettled.

The magazine also revealed that, India has already started with the construction in Challakere in Karnataka. With the completion of project in 2017 it would be “the subcontinent’s largest military-run complex of nuclear centrifuges, atomic-research laboratories and weapons-and aircraft-testing facility.”

The investigative report of journal further added that “Another more controversial ambition, according to retired Indian government official and independent experts in London and Washington, is to give India an extra stock pile of enriched uranium fuel that could be used in new hydrogen bombs, also known as thermonuclear weapons, substantially increasing the explosive force to those in its existing nuclear arsenal.”

The report says that “India’s close neighbors, China and Pakistan, would see this move as a provocation: Experts say they might respond by ratcheting up their own nuclear firepower.”

In the journal a former White House official has also been cited “Mysore is being constantly monitored, and we are constantly monitoring progress in Challakere.”
