India wins by 92 runs against West Indies in the first test match. India is currently playing 4 match’s test match series with West Indies. India in the first match of the series has defeated West Indies by an innings and 92 runs and with this India has taken a lead of 1-0 in the four match series against West Indies. The first in the series match was played in Antigua.
India completed its innings at 566 with 8 wickets down. While bowling to West Indies, India stopped the contemporary at a total of 243 rulls with all wickets down and took the lead of 323 runs. After this, West Indies left with no other option had to continue with the follow up, but all went in vain against India as the team was all out for just 231 runs in their second innings.
This has been India’s biggest win outside the country. Taking India ahead in the tournament, to everyone’s surprise, Ravichandran Ashwin performed extremely well. He only gave 87 runs and took 7 wickets. Also, Umesh Yadav, Amit Mishra and Ishant Sharma too picked one wicket each in the first innings. The second test match has been scheduled to begin from 30 July 2016.
