The story behind this mysterious place of Rajasthan which lyies 17 km from the city Jaisalmer is said to be of around 300 years old. The then minister of the state Salim Singh, fell in love with the daughter of a chef in the village. He asked the villagers to marry her to hi or else he would increase the taxes. The villagers instead of following what he said decided to leave the village forever but cursed that no one will ever be able to reside here thereafter. And since then the village is vacant and the visitors saw some spooky images and heard some unusual sounds whenever they visited the place.
