Situated near the Sariaska Tiger Reserve, the Bhanghar fort is considered to be the most haunted places in India. Jatinga Valley, Assam:
it is believed that the birds that migrate to this valley die out of no reason between 06:00 pm to 09:00pm on moonless nights in the months of September and October. No one has ever been able to identify the reason behind the mysterious deaths of the 100s of migratory birds. Spooked out?

it is said that once, there was black water filled in a step well in this building which talked to the people and asked them to sacrifice their lives. It is believed that the souls of those who died in the step well keep wandering in the monument and thus it is advised to the visitors and tourist to not stay there after the sunset. Who would now dare to visit this place in Delhi?
Dumas Beach, Surat, Gujarat:
This black sand beach which is located 21 km southwest of the Surat city is said to be haunted. It is said that this land was once the burial ground for Hindus and the spirits of the people buried or burnt on this land still wander on the beach. Many instances have taken place where few people have mysteriously disappeared from the beach that went to visit it in the evening time. Scary? Isn’t it?
Kuldhara, Rajasthan:
The story behind this mysterious place of Rajasthan which lyies 17 km from the city Jaisalmer is said to be of around 300 years old. The then minister of the state Salim Singh, fell in love with the daughter of a chef in the village. He asked the villagers to marry her to hi or else he would increase the taxes. The villagers instead of following what he said decided to leave the village forever but cursed that no one will ever be able to reside here thereafter. And since then the village is vacant and the visitors saw some spooky images and heard some unusual sounds whenever they visited the place.
